I focus on you, creating a tailored plan to individualize your medical care. I use a combination of therapies, including conventional Western medical approaches, as well as medical acupuncture, nutrition and regenerative joint therapy [prolotherapy]. Whether you need a primary care provider, are considering alternatives for treating pain, or are interested in a more integrative way of improving your health, I'm here to help.
Advanced Myofascial Therapy Training
Amanda Baron, LMT, recently completed advanced training in myofascial therapy to address lower extremity problems:
"I recently attended a course that is part of a series with the Advanced Myofascial Techniques Certification Program, in Ashland, OR. This class focused on the leg, knee, and foot. We learned techniques for treating pain and dysfunction for problems that include plantar fasciitis, hammer toes, fallen arches, ankle sprains and strains, shin splints, as well as evaluating gait problems (e.g. walking with limited lower extremity range of motion)."
Please contact our office if you are considering ways of reducing pain and improving function for any of these conditions!
"It is rare to find a doctor with the experience, compassion and wisdom that you will find in Dr. Tom Etges. I have used a number of acupuncturists for severe back pain and Dr. Etges is by far the best. His knowledge of medicine made it easy for him to understand the issues and support the work of my other medical providers."
